We operate a 31′ Oceanmaster with twin 225 4-stroke Yamahas, giving you a smooth, quick ride to the fishy west coast waters. We are fully equipped with all  modern electronics & nav aide systems. We also have a wicked sound system & Sirus  Radio for you to rock on with while playing your catch. Our gear is high quality & maintained so you can have an amazing experience with the best Halibut and Salmon fishing charters.

 

We include all bait & gear. If you have  a favorite setup & want to bring it along, please do. We offer full body cruiser suits for your comfort…..YES, ladies, there is a head on board.

Our guides  are experienced fishermen & enjoy the trip as much as you. They are all certified, ticketed professionals. You’ll be in very capable hands.

Don’t forget your fishing licenses. As of 2014 they must be purchased on line @ www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/

If you’ve downloaded your license onto your personal device, you still need to have a printed copy with you prior to your trip. Always remember to fill in your license once your fish is in the boat. If you’re unsure, please ask your guide for assistance.

What you need to bring: Dress for wet/cold, even if it’s sunny, because there is usually fog offshore, & sometimes you’re in it all day. It’s the price you pay for BIG FISH. Bring along food & beverages for your trip & any motion sickness remedies if you are prone to sea sickness. Don’t forget your sunscreen & hat for those calm, sunny days, and a camera is last on your list.

The Port Renfrew General Store carries a fair amount of groceries & liquor if you forgot to bring supplies. They are open 7 days a week from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Port Renfew is a small, quaint community with a population of approx. 400 locals.
